DISTRICTS UPDATE

9U PURPLE TEAM CHAMPS

The 9U Purple Team was victorious 2-1 on Monday night and clinched their District Championship.  Victory was achieved with 2 runs scored with 2 outs in the 5th inning.  Congratulations to the players and coaching staff for a great performance.

10U PURPLE TEAM CHAMPS

On Sunday, July 6th, the 10U Purple Team brought home the District 9 Championship in North Edison.  Congratulations to the players and coaches for their outstanding win.

12U GOLD TEAM CHAMPS

On Tuesday night, the 12U Gold Team captured the District 9 / 10 Championship in Readington.    Congratulations to the players and coaching staff for a job well done.  (See Team photo in Travel Section)

The 11U Purple Team finished 2nd in their tournament in Colonia.  It took all 6 tough innings for their opponents to prevail.  HOWEVER, the team has earned a place in the State Tournament!!  Congratulations to the players and coaches for a great effort!

The 8U Purple Team finished as District Runner Up in a heartbreaking Championship Game vs East Brunswick.  The lead changed hands in the bottom of the 6th inning with 2 outs and 2 strikes.  Still quite an accomplishment for our youngest travel team.  Our congratulations to the players and coaches for a wonderful first district tournament!
